Huntsville, AL – JBS Solutions, Inc. sponsored the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Huntsville Heart Walk held May 11 at Big Spring Park in the Rocket City.
Athleisure-clad JBS employees participated in the walk on the sunny spring morning to further support the AHA in their 100th year of funding cardiac research and innovations while widely educating the public on heart health.
The Huntsville teams broke records by raising more than $590,000 in life-saving funds under the direction of Ignite CEO Clayton Hinchman.
CEO and President Sherrie Nash said, “As a company, we’ve always been committed to the health and well-being of our people. Sponsoring the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk is a meaningful way for us to give back to an organization that benefits so many of our friends, family and colleagues. We are honored to participate in this event.”
Heart health is a cause near and dear to Hinchman as he survived two heart attacks in a 24-hour period at the age of 38, highlighting the fact that heart disease is the #1 killer in the U.S.
