JBS Solutions Selected as SeaPort NxG Prime Contractor

Huntsville, AL — JBS Solutions, Inc., an engineering services company that specializes in spaceflight planning, systems engineering and integration and mechanical design and analysis engineering for space programs and the nation’s warfighter, has been chosen as a prime contractor on the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort NxG) contract.
SeaPort NxG is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). It has an ordering period that extends until January 1, 2029. In the role as prime contractor, JBS Solutions will respond to task orders supporting the U.S. Department of the Navy (DON) and Marine Corps (USMC) in functional areas. These include, but are not limited to, engineering services and support, testing and evaluation, research and development, and program/administrative management.
The award is the inaugural prime contract for the Huntsville, AL, based company., The designation attests to the strong industry credentials JBS boasts in delivering the highest quality in mission critical services to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the United States Department of Defense (DOD) while maintaining a superior level of integrity.

SeaPort NxG is the Navy Virtual SYSCOM Commanders’ (NAVAIR, NAVFAC, NAVSEA, NAVSUP, NAVWAR, and ONR), Military Sealift Command (MSC) and USMC’s integrated approach to contracting for Professional Support Services (PSS). Electronic procurement of Technical, Engineering, and other professional services represents a key strategy in meeting DON’s contracting needs. It has a ceiling of $5 billion annually with a 10-year period of performance, equaling $50 billion over this ordering period.
